Description of Project

The last government of PPP has established Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Housing Cell to ensure the availability of shelters to the downtrodden members of the community to fulfill its commitment towards the slogan of food, clothing and shelter. Thus in 2010, 2011, 2012 the people of Sindh have also experienced catastrophes resulting in massive displacement and loss of assets as well as shelters placing victims in a dangerous situation. Even though the government along with CSOs has been assisting the communities for their survival but the consecutive floods have caused misery to the people of Sindh. Therefore the present government, PPP, intends to provide housing services to the needy communities or those living in extreme vulnerability.
MDF is primarily be responsible for supervising construction of 200 housing units as per approved design, training of Masons, Quality control of the construction material, management record keeping / supervision over Government grant to the beneficiary families and other services.
