Scope of the Services
A comprehensive approach to promote and protect gender equality and eliminate gender discrimination in Sindh including girls participation and access to decision-making, non-discrimination, equal access, accountability and access to justice/rule of law and transparency. It is clearly aimed at creating an enabling environment where girls/women are able to enjoy their rights, have access to basic protection, legal aid and referral services for seeking redress against violation of rights. Additionally, the project is promoting a Rights Based Approach of working of building the girls on cyber securities and rapid actions against cybercrimes related to girls. While the proposed projects Direct beneficiaries will be third and final years girls students of universities including University of Sindh (UoS), Sindh Agriculture university of Tando jam (SAU), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Liaqat University of Medical and Health science (LUMHS), and the indirect beneficiaries will be the select girls peer group, family and their social media friends because the beneficiaries will be proved as leaders of groups and promote their learning to the social media and peer groups.
Services Provided
Deploy project staff
Provide two (02) day orientation training to the project staff
Sign MoU with selected Universities
Identify and select 200 third & final year girl`s student for project
Provide four (04) awareness workshop to the selected students on cyber security, rapid action against cyber discrimination and gender-based violence,
Engage 200 third & final years student of selected universities by providing them training on digital learning and career counseling,
Form (04) student groups to conduct social media awareness on cyber security and rapid response against cybercrime, share employment opportunities and support career building,
Organize four (04) interactive seminars on the role of social media and society in gender and social inequalities in two universities.
Develop IEC Materials for workshop and Training on cyber security and self-employment through digital learning,
Engage staff of cybercrime cell as resource person
Coordinate effectively with relevant stakeholders
Conduct Monitoring of the project
Prepare and Submit project monthly reports
Prepare and Submit project final reports
