Description of Project
International Women's Day is a time to honor women and raise awareness about the unique obstacles they face around the world. This year's theme is "End Hunger and Poverty."International Women's Day (IWD) originally is called International Working Women's Day, marked on 8th of March every year in the whole world. In different regions, the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries. The UN theme for International Women's Day 2013 was Empower Women End Hunger and Poverty. Accordingly Management & Development Foundation (MDF) celebrated International Women's Day to honor and praise women for their accomplishments in Badin District of Sindh with the support from ActionAID Pakistan.

Mobilize communities to send their daughters for getting education

Mobilized communities to take serious steps for women's rights
346 beneficiaries were given awareness including 50 male participants
Refreshment was provided to the participants
