Scope of the Services
In January 2021 Sindh Assembly unanimously passed the Amendment Act 2018 in Sindh Water Management Ordinance 2002 (SWMO 2002), which earlier didn’t have any women participation in farmer organizations (FOs) and water course associations (WCAs). The passing of the act made it possible to include more than 100,000 women in more 45,000 WCAs (two women in each WCA) in Sindh. After the approval of Amendment Act 2018 in SWMO 2002 from the Sindh Assembly following milestone/activities in coordination with OiP, SIDA, AWB and MDF were launched, first to complete the process of vetting of the “Rule of Business (ROBs)” approved from the Law Department and later to implement them in the field;
