Description of Project

International Women's Day is a time to honor women and raise awareness about the unique obstacles they face around the world. This year's theme is "End Hunger and Poverty."International Women's Day (IWD) originally is called International Working Women's Day, marked on 8th of March every year in the whole world. In different regions, the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements. Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries. The event was organized to raise importance on Women Rights & Gender Equity in the society and spread awareness among the unprivileged and deprived communities of their legal rights.
