Description of Project

Legal identity is a critical and multifaceted issue situated at the intersection of human rights, demographic statistics, and administrative reform and has wide reaching implications. Access to resources, social services and economic opportunities are all linked directly or indirectly with proof of legal identity. Statistics shows that around 64,987 women of Tharparkar district have not been able to get their CNICs prepared through the facility provided by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Government of Pakistan As the Election time period is near in Pakistan, so the CNIC's importance is very valuable issue in the areas. Vote registration is very required for establishing a real democratic state. ECP is going to launch a door-to-door voter registration campaign in coming days. Without CNIC it is impossible to get the facilities from Public or Private agencies like:

Pakistan Card / Watan Card Facility
Any support regarding Violence
FIR / NC entry
